Having been one of the very first parents when Alcar Started, I have watch this incredible school, grow and flourish, under the amazing care and direction of Mrs. Allie-Brown and her team. The standard of education, the highest protocols, especially during this time, have only strengthened my conviction, this school, doesn’t just educate and grow, the students, it encourages and shares,  the strong disciplines, that all our young people need, to step out into the world, hold their heads high, with confidence, and with knowledge.

We migrated to Jamaica right before the Pandemic hit the world. Dealing with all the adventures and challenges of adjusting to a new lifestyle and culture, our first and most important task was to find a school for our daughter that would match her academic aspirations and our expectations. After visiting four (schools) and being disappointed we felt like giving up.  Then I remembered someone mentioned Alcar Academy to us the summer prior to us moving to Montego Bay. Even though we were exhausted after visiting the other schools we drove by Alcar Academy. As we drove up the driveway my husband said this is it. I asked, “This is what”. He said our daughter is going to attend this school. I looked confused as we did not converse with the principal or staff. My husband was correct, almost 5 years later and we have not regretted our decision. We did not only find an excellent school for our daughter we found an excellent community at Alcar Academy. I can’t thank the principal, teachers, and the school staff enough for the joy and excitement my daughter has attending school and the peace of mind my husband and I have knowing she is in an environment that fosters learning, outward thinking, and self-awareness and helps boost her confidence. We flourish as she continues to learn and grow in different areas of her education. Thank you Alcar Academy for your devotion to the education of our children!
